Himanshoo

One’s health is definitely one’s greatest wealth. But for the impoverished, accessing healthcare is becomes a major hurdle financially. The challenges they go through is unimaginable. One such challenge was faced by an 11-year old boy, Himanshoo, who was diagnosed with a hole in his heart when he was only 3-4 months old. With the job as a farmer, giving Himanshoo adequate medical care and attention was demanding for his father with his salary of only Rs.4000 per month. But once Look For Child Foundation came in contact with Himanshoo and his family, an adequate financial assistance was provided for Himanshoo’s treatment, medicines, and additional facilities required. Today, it is a jolly moment to see this little child happy which is only possible by the magnanimous heart of our donors and benefactors who are always ready to help those in need. “The heart that gives, gathers.”- Marianne Moore

Sushma

“A life without health is like a river without water.” – Maxime Lagace The pandemic has certainly given us a greater appreciation for our health. However, for some, having good health and accessing proper health care has been demanding from a young age. Sushma, the 13-year old daughter of Mohan and Rangila, was diagnosed with a hole in her heart at the tender age of 3. Due to her prolonged treatment, she was unable to walk and was puking blood. Her treatment at Din Dayal Hospital cost approximately Rs.1 lac which was burdensome for her father earning Rs.400 per day as a painter. Look For Child Founation provided Sushma with adequate financial assistance for her medical treatment. After a couple of surgeries under the care of Dr. Sachin Talwar, Dr. Milind, and Dr. Ramakrishnan, Sushma’s health condition is remarkable.
